Di joined Ewing Kindergarten in 2018 with 25 years experience teaching and 14 years experience managing early childhood education facilities.
Di holds a Bachelor of Teaching, Post Graduate Diploma in Pre and Post Natal family support and a Bachelor of Business.
Di is a strong advocate for early learning and connecting children with their natural environments.
Tammy Silber
Tammy Silber 4 year old Wombats Teacher
Tammy has been involved in the education of both 3 year old and 4 year old groups since joining Ewing Kindergarten in 2009.
Tammy has Bachelor Degrees in Educational Studies and Early Childhood Education.
Tammy is passionate about individuality, creativity and imagination, diversity, stories, songs and drama, and maths and science.
 Trudy McDougall
Trudy McDougall3 year old Koalas Teacher
Trudy joined Ewing Kindergarten in 2014 after previous experiences in kindergarten and early primary teaching.
Trudy has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
Trudy is passionate about using an inquiry-based approach to learning in order to provide meaningful opportunities for investigation in response to children’s interests.
Libby Pickard
Libby Pickard4 year old Possums Teacher
Libby joined Ewing Kindergarten this year, 2018, after teaching in country Victoria for two years. Prior to that, Libby lived in Japan for 16 years, seven of which were spent teaching at an International Pre School.
Libby has a Bachelor of Education (Visual Arts), Master of Early Childhood Education and a Diploma in Kids Yoga Teaching.
Libby is passionate about living sustain-ably, all things natural, clay, yoga and Aboriginal Culture.
Jeanette Giles
Jeanette Giles 4 year old Possums Co-Educator
Jeanette joined Ewing Kindergarten in 2005 and in that time has worked with both 3 year old and 4 year old groups.
Jeanette has a Certificate III in Children’s Services.
Jeanette is passionate about the environment and the creatures which inhabit it and loves sharing this passion with the children at Ewing Kindergarten.
Angie Greenwood
Angie Greenwood4 year old Wombats Co-Educator
Angie began her involvement in the Ewing community as a parent in 2001 and has continued that involvement from 2007 as a Co-educator.
Angie has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and is currently working towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
Angie enjoys being a part the children’s ongoing learning and development throughout their year.
Prue Jones
Prue Jones3 year old Joeys Teacher and 3 year old Koalas Co-Educator
Prue began her involvement in the Ewing community as a parent in 2005 and has continued that involvement more recently as a Co-educator.
Prue has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
Prue loves reading to the children. She enjoys extending the children’s interest and knowledge through discussion. Through this conversation she’s able to gain insights into the children’s unique personalities.
Kathy Varelas

Kathy has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies.
One of Kathy’s main passions is enabling every child to believe in themselves, giving them confidence and the opportunity to be heard in a positive and respectful way.
Kathy also enjoys reading and singing to children.
Kathy does lunch cover on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Rachael is completing her Diploma of Community Services
Rachel has a wealth of experience working in a variety of early childhood settings such as long day care and sessional kindergartens
Rachael is Co-educator in the Possums on a Wednesday afternoon and does lunch cover on Tuesday and Thursday

Anna has a Diploma of Community services and covers lunch cover on a Tuesday and does releif work for co-educators when they are away

Anna is a warm and caring person who enjoys spending one on one with each individual child
